Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines prohibited and restricted activities on the LobsterCage platform. It applies to all users, API consumers, and AI agents running within cages.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use LobsterCage to:

  • Engage in illegal activity, including fraud, money laundering, or distribution of illegal content
  • Launch denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, or network exploitation against any system
  • Distribute malware, ransomware, or other malicious software
  • Mine cryptocurrency without explicit prior authorization
  • Send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) or conduct phishing campaigns
  • Store or transmit child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits minors
  • Circumvent or attempt to bypass platform security controls, billing mechanisms, or resource limits
  • Resell, sublicense, or share access to cages without authorization
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from third-party services in violation of their terms of service

3. AI Agent Responsibility

You are responsible for the actions of any AI agents running in your cages. Automated agents must operate within the same boundaries as manual use. "The AI did it" is not a valid defense for policy violations.

4. Resource Usage

  • Cages must operate within their provisioned resource limits (CPU, memory, storage)
  • Intentionally wasting resources (e.g., keeping cages running with no workload to block others) is prohibited
  • Outbound network traffic must comply with applicable laws and third-party terms of service

5. Webhooks & External Integrations

Webhook URLs provisioned for your cages are for legitimate integration purposes only. Sharing webhook tokens publicly or using them to relay traffic for unauthorized purposes is prohibited.

6. Enforcement

Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account, at our discretion. For severe violations (illegal activity, CSAM, active attacks), we may terminate immediately without notice and report to appropriate authorities.
